In The Late Hours of Election Day The Moon Will Turn Red

It is almost impossible to believe that the Earth will make the moon bloody red by eclipsing it. This marks the beginning of Election Day. Many people are expecting a massive Red Wave.

I’m not an expert at reading tea leaves. It is something I find more entertaining than serious races.

On Tuesday, the Earth, sun and moon will align to create a Blood Moon eclipse. It will be the last total lunar eclipse until 2025. Mark your calendars.

From iHeart:

Tuesday’s Election Day will start with a dark start due to the third total lunar Eclipse in three years. The total lunar eclipse will occur at midnight Pacific Time as the moon passes Earth’s shadow.

Over the next two hours, the moon will slowly dim until it reaches its totality at 02:06 AM [PST].

It will be visible for approximately 90 minutes before it begins to move away from Earth’s shadow. The eclipse will end at 3:00 a.m. PST. After that, it will begin to move out from Earth’s shadow. Google has helped me to find this information.

What’s the story behind the celestial skies? Let’s get in-depth.

Is this a sign? The New York Times immediately points out that it isn’t.

In the early hours of Tuesday, the moon will change to a blood-reddish color. This is one of the most spectacular sights in the night sky.

I’m sure. The Washington Post is more concerned, writing that it will be ugly and not offer the chance to reflect on the incredible power of the universe.

A complete eclipse on Election Day has never before been seen.

Did you know? The total eclipse of the moon will fall on Election Day in the United States, November 8, 2022. This will be the 1st Election Day total lunar eclipse in U.S. history.

We are happy with what we’ve seen. Many of our readers will be pleased with the results of Tuesday’s poll. While I don’t believe in superstition, it’s hard to find joy in a red lunar Eclipse on the day that we pray for a Red Wave.
