Twitter banned @ExposeFauci as Project Veritas used it to promote its latest bombshell. It contained documents about U.S. involvement in gain-of-function research on bat-borne coronaviruses. Project Veritas’ Twitter account was shut down in February 2021. Twitter claimed that Project Veritas’ attempts to interview Facebook Vice President Guy Rosen at his house violated the platform’s policies regarding “posting private data.”
Twitter has yet to give an excuse for banning ExposeFauci. This account was created to promote Project Veritas’ most recent scoop, a leaked military document about gain of function research.
According to the report, EcoHealth Alliance approached DARPA for funding in March 2018 to conduct gain-of-function research on bat-borne coronaviruses. DARPA rejected Project Defuse because of safety concerns and because it was believed to violate the basis gain-of-function research moratorium.
According to the documents, NIAID under Dr. Fauci continued research at Wuhan, China, and other sites throughout the U.S. Dr. Fauci repeatedly stated, under oath that the NIH, NAIAD, and EcoHealth Alliance were not involved in gain-of-function research. Project Veritas documents that explain why EcoHealth Alliance’s proposal was denied show that DARPA clearly classified the research as gain-of-function.
These documents were made public one day before Anthony Fauci, NIAID director, appeared before the Senate to address another hearing. Fauci complained to Rand Paul that he was trying to hide the NIAID director’s involvement with gain-of-function research.
Twitter also suspended Eric Spracklen’s account. He is an associate of Project Veritas, and posts content for the organization on the platform.
